best 1 gallon gas can

For transporting gas, I use a 1.5 liter Primus Fuel bottle.
Get the old style, without the child safety cap.
Don't hang it by the cap, I put it in a mesh bag, then hang the bag...

For two cycle or mower gas, get a Justrite safety can.
Not cheap, but very safe, and long lasting.

Type I is just a can, also get the funnel that attaches to the can...
Type II has a built in pour spout.
Green, yellow, blue, and red colors available, it's worth looking around and getting a green for premixed gas.

I have had a green one for twenty years...

+1 I have two of them and they are great, but expensive.

An old one. The new ones with the "safety spouts" are junk. Think garage sales, flea markets, etc.

That does look good for small cans, but large say 5 gallon jugs are harder to handle when full, thats what i hate about the current ones.

No, No, No.

I'm sorry, but the "justrite" cans are horrible. They are difficult to deal with.

Find a rectangular "race car" fuel can and purchase a flexible spout. I get mine from "Cycle Gear". It really is the easiest and cleanest method. I like the translucent ones. They last forever. Have very high quality caps and never leak.

Only problem is they don't give them away. Buy once cry once I suppose.
