Berryman B12 Combustion Chamber Cleaner

Has anyone used this before?

It's the kit that comes with the bottle, hose, fitting, etc.

It's made only to go into the vac line and not the gas tank.

I've used Chemtool in my gas tank before and it worked pretty good, but I would recommend Seafoam now based on a recent experience.

There was a time when I was a B12 guy. It's a very strong solvent and after reading this web site, I would be very careful with it.

Seafoam is a strong solvent too.

No difference really.

I've used B12 Chemtool a lot for cleaning intake manifolds and it seems to work very well. I wouldn't be afraid of it.

There is a very big difference between B12 Chemtool and Seafoam. Just because both are solvents doesn't mean they are the same. If you've ever used both of them like I have you would know this. IMO Seafoam is not nearly as harsh and is much safer to use in both the crankcase and for cleaning the fuel system, valves, combustion chamber etc. After using both I will not be using Chemtool anymore.

I pulled this topic up with a search. Can someone please enlighten me on why I should or shouldn't use B-12 Chemtool in my fuel system, or in my small engine equipment's tank or even crankcase?
And what would MMO do for me that B-12 can't or is too harsh to do. Any input would be appreciated.

MMO Will provide lubrication along with cleaning

Do I want to lubricate my injectors, though? Or do I want to pass a solvent through it for a good cleaning. I can understand the crankcase cleaning with a solvent, I am really wondering if I should start using MMO from now on. Or should I just stick with the B-12 every now and then for fuel in the vehicles, or in the small engines. Thanks. Brian

I usually don't use B-12 in the fuel tank to clean injectors. I use B-12 to clean the intake system though and I like it. I usually use either Techron or RedLine in the tank to clean injectors.
