Purolator P1.. and fram TG is new choice...... Just saw a whole front page about Purolator having problem with media .... my concern is, its effect any of the motorcraft oil filter ? Im running FL820s and FL1A on my mustang and my expedition , I have another 5 each filter on the shelf, I wonder if it safe to continue using purolator oil filter line or switch brand for now until thing get better .

I see another thing change about Fram, seem like the TG is the new BITOGer choice at the moment, I have nothing again fram, I love their air filter and ULTRA oil filter, now I do give a TG a try

I don't recall seeing the tears in Motorcraft filters, but in the Classics and Pureones. I'd just stick with the Ultra from now on unless they change its design.

I cut open an FL820s today. No tears at 5,000 miles. I will post photos soon.
