Certainly some credit goes to the Amsoil lube used, but we cannot ignore the design/manufacture of the Cyclone engines.
The n/a Cyclone engines are quite capable of long OCIs being done safely. The engines run very clean, and are low stress. As he commented in the video, the upper head areas are very clean, no significant wear indications, etc. Tight chains ... etc ... "
No wear - looks phenomenal." The fact that this engine came out of an ambulance (severe service) and still looks this good is a testament to the oil and the engine combo.
I've run multiple OCIs over 10k miles and have the UOA wear data to show it's safe, even with conventional lubes. My UOAs are posted here on the site:

These engines in n/a form are some of the best engines out there, from Ford, or any manufacturer. They have good power for their size, wear incredibly well, and run clean. Can't ask much more than that.
