I was hoping some of BITOG's UK viewers could help me with this:

BBC 2 makes this documentary freely available in the UK:

American Time Bomb


No one in America is allowed to see it. Can someone point me to a source or a UK based proxy server that will allow me to watch it? Does anyone know if someone may have uploaded this video onto rapidshare or a similar service?
 
When I click on the link it says I have to be in the UK. That's why I was hoping to find a proxy server that would do the trick.

Yep, same thing happened during the Olympics.
No one outside the US could access any video on the US network's site.

I do know it's freely available in the UK.

AVG says it detects a threat when I try to run the .exe file.

Is it safe?

I dunno.

I'm trying to find another torrent, that you can grab through azureus or something like that.

The link is the only (alleged) torrent that I've been able to find.

I can watch via vpn if I set my proxy server to one in the UK :)

Indylan, did you find an actual torrent link in that exe. If you did, maybe you could let the OP know in a PM.
 
I would recommend this if you can get to it. I've found torrents using the title I.O.U.S.A. but haven't d/l'ed any to see if they are this program. That is the title shown at the beginning and end of the story.

It's a sobering program that every taxpayer should watch. Next time you want the government to spend something, watch this again.

It's a growing problem, and things like Iraq, the Bush tax cuts, and earmarks are only a small fraction of the total problem.

It is sobering to say the least.
