Battery failed (again)

I share your frustration and wondering why the batteries keeps failing! I myself have been toiling with it in my 08'/09' Impala SS with GM factory batteries keep failing about every 10 months.

Last year they won't change any more batteries so now all they do is re-charge the dead one as long as the battery will hold a load.

That's what I recommend for you but I'd try another brand like Bosch AND have the new battery re-charged fully before it's installed. Many electrical systems won't work well if you battery doesn't have a strong charge.

I've had better luck with JC than Exide.
1 vehicle I had a Interstate (green top) that lasted only 3 years (to last year), & replaced it with a Costco battery.
I'd liked to check out/consider Sears Platinum when my main vehicle needs its next battery.

Not an alternator, but the slip joint drive came out and it stopped charging the battery, Volvo knows of the issue. And I cannot take the breakdowns so its gone.
