Bathroom fans - more than noisemakers!

mines (both of them), where re-circulating (body odor/shower steam) and on heat all the time (hooray in the hot summer). the builders installers just unhooked the 3" pipe and leave it in the ceilings
now the noise rivaled the next door harley dealer (never oiled original 80's equipment)

YOU ARE SO RIGHT! (no i'm not deaf)
one of my fans goes to a short 3 1/2 feet run (fan is 4", pipe is 3")
the other is at least 15' run (fan is 4", pipe is 3"), but i'm not breaking the celings and walls of my apartment anymore; tired off construction dust.

now guess who factually finishes taking the humidity out of which the bathroom?
