I have read on here about the different base stocks used to create a quality synthetic oil. Some are POA's etc. The TGMO uses something different. How many basestocks are used and what are the pros and cons of the different ones? Are POA's the best? I think Amsoil and Mobil 1 are POA, but I am not sure. I thought I would ask the experts....Thanks.

Few people can really say what base stocks are in a particular oil, most people can only speculate. From what I've read, it sounds like most oils may contain a blend of different base stocks. My best advice is to not get caught up too much on what base stocks an oil contains, or what additives an oil contains. What matters most is how well the base stock(s) and additives work together in the final product.
