Yea, the Michelins I have on my car as well as my parents latest CC2s have 1AP/1B3 on their DOT numbers, a set of Contis made in Romania start with 0xx. And I’ve seen LingLong/Leao/Atlas with 1YC recently too.

Guys,

In April, 2025, NHTSA will require tires to have a 3 digit plant code (from 2 digits). The industry has been making the transition for quite some time.

Here's a list created by Tire Business, a tire related newspaper: Barry's Tire Tech: Tire DOT Plant Codes

I've also updated my webpage on DOT coding: Barry's Tire Tech: Serial Number/ DOT Coding (Updated Dec, 2024)

Enjoy!

CapriRacer,

Thanks,
