Due to RA shipping I decided to try a Baldwin Filter for my Mom's S-10. Was honestly just curious to try something different and Baldwin has a good reputation here. Over all decent looking filter. Louvers inside aren't quite as open as I'd like, but the weirdest thing to me was the sealant around the baseplate (pic 3). Ever seen anything like this? It was all the way around the base plate, it wasn't loose, and I couldn't pick it with my finger, but it sure looks sloppy to me.
I also ordered a Champ PH51A (same application) which was just an ecore and honestly I thought it was the better looking filter and cost a whopping $1.92..
