Bad engine mount?

Hey everyone,
Recently I’ve noticed some light noise when shifting from P to D or R. N is smooth and quiet.
No vibrations, no heavy clunk, just a subtle noise.
I opened the engine bay and it seems like the top engine mount is cracked and dry rotted.
I’ve attached a photo, could you please let me know if I should replace this engine mount?
Would replacing this engine mount make the noise disappear?

My car is 2016 Mazda 3 with 2.0L non-turbo engine, if it matters. 118,000km (which is about 76,000 miles).
Thanks!

Yes, I would replace the mount with an OEM part. I have found that aftermarket mounts don't last as long and do cause more engine vibrations. You might want to check the other mounts too. I don't know about the noise but a bad or broken mount can strain other parts as well as stressing the radiator when the engine moves excessively, tugging on the hoses.

Did you have anyone shift the treansmission while you look at the mounts? I would suspect the lower mount first with the conditions you subscribe, and this one doesn't look that bad yet.
