When I was in the Air Training Corps, we had a thing on one Sunday. My Dad made me a bacon and tomato sammy with a little pepper. tomatoes sliced really thin.

So it was cold, crisp, and salty after a morning of marching.

I make myself one to take to work 3-4 times a year, and today was one of them.

Guys, the best bacon is from Loveless Cafe on the west side of Nashville. Their peppered bacon is the most asked-for item when we travel back to our home town. The folks always ask "did you bring us some bacon?!" Yeah, it's that good.

That's great.

Local casino has pretty good all you can eat chow.

All you can eat, apple wood smoked bacon, about 3/16" thick.

You never can go wrong with all you can eat bacon.
 
That's the only meatloaf I've seen that's worth eating!

My wife made bacon this spring from our 2 pigs, salt cured and then cold smoked with black cherry and maple. Usually I cut a couple 1/4" slices off the slab for a weekend breakfast. Its very good!
