Hey guys, hopefully you guys can shed some light on this problem I have with my PC

recently I had downloaded a program to convert files and this babylon search engine showed up whenever I open a new tab in Internet Explorer 8, my PC is setup on Windows 7

Can anyone help with any advise on how to get rid of it? It used to be my homepage as well as in the search engine in the top right field, but I've since got those to revert back to Google.

Thanks in advance

There have been quite a few articles on the www about removal of the Babylon Tool Bar. It is a bit of a PITA to remove. I'd suggest reading up on it first. Sometimes it sneaks itself in when you download freeware.

Try a Google search of removing the Babylon Tool Bar.

First have you done a full system scan with a decent security suite like MSE?

Or you can download Malwarebytes and do a FULL scan.

It should get rid of it.

Go to malwarebytes.ORG .....do NOT download it from ANYWHERE ELSE.

Dowload a free program called revo uninstaller free edition, it will uninstall the program and every leftover file and registry setting associated with Babylon.

If youwanna try something geared towards novices download PC decrapifier.
