Got the 2 pack of these at $10 for the BOLENS riding lawn mower that gets an average of 7 hours of use a week . They're only a few bucks more than the regular CHAMPION . Last , who produces these for B&S ? Seem to be of good quality . Hopefully it's NGK for B&S . Thanks for all the help with the spark plug choice . Here's a picture of them , http://www.tractorsupply.com/outdoor-pow...ck-of-2-4457013 .

It's champion. Champion makes all briggs and stratton spark plugs.

See compare the pics here: RC12YC (Non Platinum) http://ihccw.com/IMG_0895_14.JPG

And your platinum: http://media.tractorsupply.com/is-viewers-4.1/flash/genericzoom.swf?&serverUrl=http://media.tractorsupply.com/is/image/&contentRoot=/skins/&config=TractorSupplyCompany/TSCConfig4&image=TractorSupplyCompany/4457013_set&initialFrame=0

Look right above the threads, the angled slash lines that go around the plug. Both Champion.

If it was NGK, it would have JAPAN stamped in where those angled slash lines are.

Champion is fine by me for the manufacturer of the these plugs . Will install them Thursday and see if any improvement . Only if the weather would cooperate .

I just bought a few of the new Champion (#851 ez)"eco-core" EZstart plugs. They have an iridium firing tip and a wide insulator nose, claims to reduce fouling. Now I wait for my regular Champ plug to fail....
