Thanks for that @Zee09 It's Champ labs made & the filter being so short a bad glue job just covers the whole media quick. Champ makes good filters but as we see there's some head turners sometimes. Aren't you glad you cut this one open instead of running it?

Tiny element with potting material everywhere. And Champ Labs weird/unique clicker bypass used on some of their lowest tier filters.

Yup. Not a terrible filter, but certainly not a good value. I've seen these for as high as $22 at my local Tractor Supply.

Probably the worst value that exists in the oil filter industry. Sloppy construction, tiny filter element, cheap bypass valve design... and priced higher than many premium filters.
