I have a 2001 Neon that was leaking from the rear main seal I guess, since oil was coming out from a boot on the transmission. I was losing about 1 quart every 1000 miles or less. I've just finished two applications of ARX, and after the 2500 Completion Phase, I still lost just 1 quart, so I guess ARX is doing its job.
I just started another rinse phase according to: "It can take up to 3,000 additional miles to completely stop the seal leak." So once this 3000 mile 'phase 3 rinse' is done, how will I know the difference whether the seal is fixed or I will have to replace it? There is still oil coming out of the boot, I guess cause I let the oil leak slide for about 8 months?
Here's a thread where I posted a picture of it way before I started ARX: http://forums.neons.org/viewtopic.php?t=240056&highlight=
Some (possibly) relevant specs:
2001 Neon, 5 speed manual
SuperTech 5W30 5 quarts
SuperTech ST16 (oversize filter)
