Sure, it'll get the job done. But what just went in before you? What is still stuck to the "soft cloth" that slaps at your car?

Whenever I want to use an automatic car wash, I just set my garden hose on mist, drag a wet towel through the mud and beat my car with it.

Occasional touchless/underbelly during the winter months. Otherwise, I always hand wash in driveway, or ONR wash in garage.

The touchless ones may not "touch" your paint, but the harsh chemicals will remove your wax/sealant in a hurry.

living in the city, it's too much of a hassle to wash my car in the street. and since my car is never garaged, it's already getting abused by the environment.
