Auto Shut-off with a turbo

I wonder if you even could shut the engine off if you tried, with it glowing?I bet there is a nanny in the computer to manage that.
anybody run into that?

Yes I have after not doing a cool down lap once. Coolant will boil out.

The S/S in my wife's 2020 RAV4 monitors things and doesn't turn the engine off if conditions are not right. I assume Jeep has this same technology.

Some engine designs engage electric water pump post engine shut down.

Subaru used convection design to keep coolant flowing. The vapor would move coolant.

Doesn't help if the engine has been shut off immediately after running it 'glowing hot', like after laps at the track. Airflow here helps more; that's why a cooldown lap is always done, if possible.

See my question above. No I havent.

Every vehicle will boil their coolant if they skip a cooldown lap and come straight into the pits after multiple hot laps. Maybe not some purpose-built race cars depending on the track but otherwise a cooldown lap exists to get air through the radiator and out the engine bay.

Thank you!
