It does not matter what type of oil you use for the cleaning phase of the Auto-Rx® application. However, for maximum results, we recommend that you use plain, non-synthetic oil for the Rinse Phase. Please see Application Instructions for complete details.

What vehicle is this for? You can certainly use Mobil 1, but it would be a waste IMO. I would personally recommend ACDelco conventional 5w30 (or 10w30) if you can find it.
Use a ratio of 70 ml ARX per litre of oil for a standard application, or 100 ml ARX per litre of oil for heavy sludge applications. Run a 10,000 kilometre clean phase and a 12,000 kilometre rinse phase for best results. If this is on a vehicle with the GM OLM, follow the OLM for both phases. Best of luck!
