What is the correct proceedure in doing this with a 02' trailblazer? Can I just pour it in and drive for about 500 to 1k miles and do a regular pan drop and filter change without running it another 1k or so and drop the pan again. Would like feed back from other users The good the bad and the ugly.Would like to know what to do, and what not to do. thanks guys!

Add 6 oz to the existing fluid through the dipstick tube, drive it 1500, then flush/refill the box with the new ATF.

It's a fairly simple procedure; no "rinse" needed. But no pan drops; you've really got to do a complete recharge via the lines.

This stuff DOES work in my experience in cleaning up deposit-related shifting issues. It is my first tool in confronting a high mileage unit with an unknown fluid change history.

I did three pan drops in one day and on the last pan drop I also put a fresh filter in. So I droped refilled and drove the car about 10 miles each time three times in one day. This effectively replaced all the old fluid.
