The Auto-RX instructions say to use 6oz. of fluid, but there is no adjustment for different size transmissions the way there is for different oil quantity when it is used in engine oil. So I am curious if/how I need to modify the amount of Auto-RX I should add to my transmission. It takes around 13-14 qts. of fluid. Does this require more Auto-RX than the "average" application?

Call Frank Miller (contact info on the ARX website). He knows the product very well and will probably be able to offer some specific guidance for your circumstances. I've spoken to him a couple times, and he was very helpful. I've heard from some others that he's got some health issues, so it may be a little difficult to reach him.

FYI for others on the forum who may have the same question: Frank says 6oz. is adequate no matter the transmission fluid quantity to which it is being added.

What would happen if you added a whole bottle? Would you just waste the AutoRX? Would it damage the transmission?
