I completed the full Auto Rx program at 60k miles on Honda Accord. Since then I have put a 3-4 ounce maintenance dose in the car, and have run extended oil drains about 13000 miles with group Group IV and Group V oils. Does the Auto Rx maintenance dose lose its effectiveness after some miles. Frank referred to 6000 miles as an extended oil drain on the website with Mobil 1 and I recall 7500 miles as the highest I have seen on the website. I understand auito rx runs better with petroleum or Group III synthetic oils, but will likely run Motul, Amsoil, Redline, and similar oils for extended drains. What is the highest limit for extended drains?
