Auto-RX in this situation.

I have a /six with unknown miles. I was thinking awhile back that I might try Auto-RX, until I read the treatment length.

I only drive this car about 100 miles a month, if that. I also will not leave this oil in the car for longer then a year, and was really planning on doing six month OCI's.

Would Auto-RX be a waste in this situation?

I don't know, but there was some discussion about this a while back. I have a 327 Chevy II and I, too, only do about 100 miles / month and only in the summer. I had 3/4 bottle of Rx laying around, so I threw it in... I figured it couldn't hurt.

I'm curious to see if the experts have anything to say about this kind of usage.
