Finished the first treatment in my 1985 Toyota 4x4 22RE. I am the original owner, religiously changing the oil at 3-5k intervals using mostly either Chevron or Havoline conventional 10w30 oil, and Fram PH-43 (oversize) filter. Engine runs great but uses oil. First time using any oil treatment in this motor.

The drained oil was definitely more "black" than usual. Too early to tell if oil consumption has been reduced and if mileage has gone up. But I can report all those engine noises, rattle, clicks, clacks, etc. have been significantly reduced. I don't think this engine has been this quiet since ... ever?

Onward towards 1,500 miles with 10w30 Havoline dino and a Supertech ST-3614 filter. I've tried the Supertech filter before, but had valve clatter at startup. Be interesting to see if I can use the Supertech filter after an Auto-RX treatment.

Sounds like Rx is working well for you. I would definitely run a second treatment of Rx. With that many miles, you need a double dose and then a maintenance dose of 3oz per oil change. My engine after this second treatment is quieter and stronger then it has been in awhile. The first treatment helped my oil consumption somewhat, but the second seems to be helping even more. I'll know more in the next analysis.

Auto RX is working believe me. I'm getting close to the second treatment on my 95 Toyota 22RE with 126,000 miles. I've already noticed a decrease in oil use and the oil is cleaner. Truck seems to just run better too. I'm sure by the time I'm finished with this, It will be like having a new truck. I'm very satisfied with this product. Rando

Update - Finished my 1,500 mile interval last week. Oil consumption and fuel mileage did not appear to improve much. Engine is still very quiet. Currently running the second treatment and should see 500 miles sometime next week.

The usage interval for Auto-Rx has been standardized to 750 miles. Suggest you run at least that much on your second application.

Glad to read so many positive posts regarding Auto-Rx -- thank You! Please go to www.auto-rx.com and read revised "Application Instructions" (5-22-03) for those of you going into second application. Follow these new instructions. We made changes so 'Dino' oil and 'Synthetic' oil did not cause confussion. For those of you who have finished Auto-Rx applications, please use 3 ounces of Auto-Rx in every oil change -- the benefits are measurable and good.
