Anyone have any experience with auto rx in a chevy LT engine? I think mine is leaking, I know its common in this car, so just wondering if anyone thinks it will help... either intake manifold gasket, or rear main seal I think...
Auto RX... fixes LT1/LT4 oil leaks?

Auto-rx will not fix the leaky intake manifold on the LT1, I tried it on my old 95 Formula. That is because the leak is due to the RTV sealant being compromised, and nothing will restore it once it's gone. The only way to repair that leak is to remove the intake and reapply the RTV (on a perfectly clean surface too)
ARX will stop or slow the leak if its a dirty rear main seal. By dirty I mean contamination lodged between journal and seal. Follow instructions for seal leaks at www.auto-rx.com.
The only common oil leaks for the LT1 are the intake leak which Patman already covered and the oil cooler line leaks. The line leaks I think there is a slight chance it might help. Sometimes if disturbed some of the timing cover seals can leak the opti and WP DS seals can do this sometimes and I know at least one of those is a dry install type that leaves a layer of teflon on the metal it seals to upon initial rotation. I can not see AutoRX helping there either as it would be a wear issue not a dirt one.
Which LT1 car do you have? I know the oil cooler lines for the b-body are relatively cheap and any LT1 car is at least 8 years old now so replacement of something like that just makes sense to me.
I have 2 LT1 cars the Caprice weaps at the timing cover ever since my cam swap chalk that up to my fault, the Roadmaster wagon weeps at the oil cooler lines where they join the rubber lines, with 10 years and 180K on them I plan to swap them.

mine is a 96 vette, Lt4 engine... they may have changed the intake manifold gasket, but the only gaskets i know about are the rear crank seal and head gaskets are diff than the Lt1
