I was curious if anyone thinks that Auto-Rx does some (a litle) amount of cleaning when the engine is turned off. Seems the sludge in many places would be covered with oil and Auto-Rx.

Don't think so, since the ARX need heat to work. If you don't like to drive that much, it could be an idea to leave the car in the desert, where it can be really hot.......
Could be worth a try if you won't need the car for a while, but I can't see how the contaminated areas would be clean without any oil splashing it away.

Chemical reactions always need some heat. Generally, the more heat applied, the bigger the reaction - in simple terms. That does not say that if it is cold, no reaction will occur - just at a slower rate (unless you are talking about absolute zero...).
So, while the engine block is cold, a very weak reaction is possible but you might have to wait a long time for results - watching grass grow might be more entertaining...

Nope. Need the heat and circulation for ARX to perform. Highway miles with the motor at peak heat and flow works the best.
