Will the fact that I'm in the middle of an Auto RX treatment on an 89 Ranger (120,000 mi) have any impact on an upcoming California smog test that the vehicle is scheduled for?

Yes you will pass with very low emissions.
Please go to www.auto-rx.com and click on "Emissions Link" There is no safe natural product except Auto-Rx to reduce emissions. People driving behind you won't be breathing toxic hydrocarbons (another reason to use 3 ounce maintenance dose of Auto-Rx after initial cleansing) "A Clean Engine Is A Healthy Engine"

im no expert but it should be lower in emmisions...my emmisions was wayy below normal

my friends just went in today, that dummy...the guy is blowing out some white smoke sometimes...and does not idle too well....lol if it does not pass im going to introduce him auto rx

You can expect Auto-Rx to reduce your emissions significantly. Check this report for more information.

For those that want to use Auto-Rx specifically to pass your state's emissions test be sure to allow plenty of time to complete the application. If you wait until you fail the emissions test you may not have sufficient time to run the application before the mandatory re-test.

Yes. You definitely want to run the complete cleaning cycle and be into the rinse cycle with fresh oil before the emissions test. In other words you want to have cleaned up the ring packs for a better seal/ higher compression. Secondly you want the fresh oil in, contaminant free, for best results. Running some highway miles before inspection, with motor at max operating temp. can't hurt either.
