nearing end of 1000 mile treatment (per Frank's recommendation) i found a small pool of oil on my garage floor this morning. am now changing with fresh oil & filter and will be under the car shortly. car had less than 100k so only a one step treatment was done. also, fresh oil and filter was used along with treatment. this treatment was performed to address a sticking valve condition which has not recurred so far.

i had a rear main seal leak a couple of years ago and had added a product named "seallube" - a non-toluene "seal swelling" agent. it had worked like a charm. i am wondering if there was any interaction with the auto-rx. any comments?

update: it's not the rear main (whew). there's a tube that's leaking, come kind of bypass maybe? will have to investigate further...

Auto-Rx will not cause a seal leak, it is formulated to stop oil leaks. Auto-Rx does not use "swell" type solvent chemistry, as over time this type approach will damage seals permanently. Thanks for updating your original post.

thanks for the reply frank. we put a UV tracer in because it slowed to a couple of drips overnight. the car seems smoother, runs cooler and also seems to pull stronger after treatment...
