MI needs to get rid of that stupid no fault insurance....they've had it for decades and it's been a PITA the whole time...

I agree with this. I was with State Farm for many years, but their rates kept creeping up in spite of no claims or moving violations- so I ended up with Gieco for a while when they started doing the same thing. Finally ended up using a local guy who does real estate and insurance. Great guy, real no bologna go getter. Now I'm with a premium company (they require a minimum of an A rated company before representing them) and I have an EXCELLENT rep!

This probably doesn't mean a whole lot, but as an adjuster I dealt extensively with other insurance companies. State Farm was usually pleasant to deal with. The system to actually reach adjusters was a bit annoying but once you got a hold of someone it was fine. Their adjusters seemed to actually know what the heck was going on. Travelers is somewhere in the middle, and Progressive was terrible. I had claims that were open for weeks waiting on someone at Progressive.
