Auto Extra 618-51372 CUT OPEN, 2 tears

Off of one of the “building maintenance clowns” 2019 Ford F-250 quad cab trucks. 6.2 v-8 engine. Mobil 1 5w30 and this filter was in and on for just shy of 2,700 miles.

Not impressed to see two tears. Put a Napa Gold on and more Mobil 1 5w30 in and on. Manufactured august 3, 2019 also.

Maybe the combo valve didn't bypass correctly and caused the torn media.

The truck is used to salt lots, hauls whatever materials, supplies needed for guys to do their job. Shame it tore

Somebody was standing on it cold!! If I spent the big $ to buy a pickup like that, I would at least spring for Motorcraft, or better. Bet the Gold looks a lot better next time!

Yeah, Robert I hear ya. Have a Auto Extra off a Infiniti QX-80 SUV to cut. And a Baldwin from a friends late 90’s Maxima to chop too
