If you can't join them, beat (on) them???

Very funny, actually -- Lexus sort of set themselves up for this one (and the Hyundai commercial that lampoons the feature as well, but which isn't as funny).

haaaa. Nice. Great commeical. Only question I have is will you need a special VW oil that meets the 4.555..555 .5555 spec to do that? And will the car fall apart while attempting that move?

Great commercial! I am not a big Audi fan, but I got a kick out of that one.

As for Hyundai, I think they are just trying to aim high so that they can get the attention of more mid-level car buyers rather than just entry-level.

awesome commmercial!! It's about time people start protesting "hey, wait a minute, we're not that stupid!!"

But most people are... take a look at the bumper on the average parallel parked car.

I agree... but when you park in NYC, expect to find those little marks on your bumper. It's called bumper tapping and it's an acceptable pratice in NYC.

No it's not, at least not in Chicago. The lowlifes just get away with it because the other owners aren't watching.

WHAT? I always thought the 'bumper check' was a joke! Man, if I caught someone doing that, they'd have a fist check through their window. But, I'm not used to the 'big city life', I live in Bulls Gap. Doesn't sound like a big city, does it? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bulls_Gap 99% white people, lmao.

I love that commercial.

I used to drive in Boston everyday for a living and watching some people try to parallel park was better than going to the circus!

That is insane! If someone marked up my bumper, there would be problems. At least the trailer hitch in the back would make the bumper tappers regret hitting me.

They like to brush or dent the bumper corners, too. SUVs and trucks take out even blinkers.

That may have been what happened to my friend's new used Lincoln Continental. The car has very low miles, but it is from NJ and the front and rear bumpers are all beat up. One of the taillights is cracked too. Then again, its previous owner was elderly and some older folks are not always fully aware of their surroundings (no offense to any seniors on the site)...
