ATS Chemical 505 CRO

I will probably use this in my daughter’s 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe. It has about 120k miles. As a preventative just because it’s Direct Injection.

Has anyone used 505 CRO (oil additive) and 505 CRF (fuel additive)? Is used to decarbonize the engine.
I have used it several times on several vehicles. I can say this, nothing on the shelves at any parts store comes close to doing what ATS Carbon Clean said it would. My Honda Pilot no longer burns oil after using this treatment. I've seen fantastic results in regards to MPG. I usually buy them 2 at a time to get the shipping cost down a little. Best place I've found to buy is here https://www.atscarbonclean.com/carbon-clean-shop/

I used it in my 2006 CR-V. It did not seem to affect oil burning, but it may have had a positive impact on fuel economy. I noted a positive change after treatment.

DIY Dave gave it a go and it didn't do anything. Here is his exact video.

I'm attempting to get him to try HPL.. He is a very busy guy, however (for his situation.)

Here is that:

Compression readings on cold engine is not the correct way to test compression. Compression readings are taken on a warm engines to allow everything to seal so you get an accurate reading. This video testimony isn't how a professional technician would tests an engine or a product for that matter.

Well you do have Scotty Kilmer's testimonial as a backup, so there's that.

In reality, any pour-in engine flush or fuel additive will have limited effectiveness compared to a direct-contact soaking of components. Feel free to experiment (at your own risk), but I wouldn't expect miracles.

It is direct contact. It is intended to be used in a running engine for a short period of time.
