Looks like they're making the fixed line applications a bit more user friendly. I'm sure it also costs more than a one size fits all Magnefine. For the trade it's a mixed bag. You lose the labor and hand it to the parts supplier.
ATP is the supplier instead of the WIX version of the Magnefine at my local NAPA. A few years ago I went to NAPA and gave them the WIX inline filter number and the computer puked out a notation with an ATP number. It arrived as a Raybestos Magnefine.
I wonder if the traditional Magnefine is going away
If I see them getting a healthy discount to make room for these, I'd suspect so.
