Mobil 1 Advanced Fuel Economy 0w-20
Mobil 1 Extended Performance 0w20
Pennzoil Platinum 0w20
With the price being the same for these, is there any consensus of the BITOG brethren as to which is the better bang for the buck? I have used mostly the Pennzoil Platinum 5w-20 in the past without issue and one or two changes with regular Mobil 1 5w-20 but with the oil change due and the recent cold snap it got me thinking when I went to the store that maybe I should use one of the 0w products. There appears to be a lot of positive used oil analysis based on the 0W's and there are many supporters that beat the drum loudly on the Mobil 1 Advanced Fuel Economy as having a better add pack than even the EP. It does not seem that the Pennzoil Platinum 0w20 has as much love.
So I thought I'd throw the question out and see what everyone thinks. 2007 Honda Pilot is the application, cold climate, 7,500mi OCI or 1 year as it sees a lot of short tripping and the fuel dilution can be an issue with these so I don't push it to 10k OCI's.
Any and all opinions appreciated.
