I have been taking 2-4 Aspirins per day, (in the morning, with multivitamins, skipping AM dose of medicines) and lowering my dose of Abilify/Vistaril. My stick neck has significantly lessened. That was so bad. Couldnt do anything right with it like that.

Now, of course, I didn't check anything.........

How do YOU do YOUR Aspirin regimen, what are some things you need to be aware of, and how does it go for you?

I also feel a little more lively, and less weighed down.

The neurologist prescribed 81mg a day for me. Said when he reached the age of 40, he also was going to start popping an 81mg aspirin per day himself. Imagine. All the great drugs he could get for himself, and he is going to take a baby aspirin.

Two to four regular aspirins per day sounds like a lot.

Better be careful with Aspirin since prolong used can lead to ulcers and all sorts of gastrointestinal tract problems.
My dad has one every morning for his hart with an extra large cup of milk.
Also Aspirin is a no-no for folks that suffer from Epistaxis.

I should drop it to one, is what I was thinking.

Baby aspirin if you're going to do a daily regimen. The normal size ones are 325mg's while the baby ones are 81 mg's as mentioned earlier. Less is more in the this case.

My best friend used to take 4 aspirin after drinking a fair amount of beer over the weekend. I warned him about it but that was like talking to a brick wall. He passed away almost 6 months ago at the age of 36.

4 aspirin a day is not too much for a short period of time as long as you have no history of gastrointestinal bleeding or bleeding hemorrhoids. For a daily regimen, 81-160 is plenty. I would use the enteric coated as it delays it dissolving until it gets to the duodenum, this reduces stomach pain reflux pain. For pain relief or for use in immediate chest pain patients, use non coated aspirin, or chew the enteric coated tablets to prevent delayed absorption. Be careful if you have asthma (bronchospasms).

aspirin is NSAID, non steroid anti inflammatory drug.

routine aspirin for a lifetime has caused people in some studies to have eye retina issues.
I take an 81 mg aspirin every other day.
IBprofen is very good for pain.
try it.
not tylenol (which does not reduce inflamation, just cuts off the pain signal.)

The first thought that came to mind was that he is young and aspirin may create real long term digestive/esophageal issues. Not sure if it is indeed the case as Im sure there are lots of folks who now have 30+ years of aspiring dosing history. But he should be careful, especially if he has a cocktail of meds.

I just choose to eat a healthy, balanced diet, keep myself in shape and skip all the pill popping.

Given the information in your post, you have probably taken more pills in the last day than I have my entire 69 years. But if keeping the drug companies and their stockholders wealthy makes you happy, then keep on popping all those pills.

Some of us have to "pop" those pills in order to live. I take a 325mg coated aspirin daily per cardiologist's instructions as I had a quad bypass back in April of 2012. I'm a non smoker by the way.
Plus I take a pill for my heart muscle.

If my wife had not given me aspirin on the day after Easter last year, I would not be here.

Kudos to you for not having any health problems!

Fish oil is good for the heart. Only negatives are the cost and fish burps. Take a walk daily. Even a fast 10 mins is much better than nothing. Try to get 30 minutes in. Fiber from apples, oatmeal etc.
