Toyota v6(sluger)575 miles into ARX cleaning.
Car went to mechanic and was given an throttle body and upper cylinder cleaning.
Will the oil/ARX be good for another 1k?
I know oil should be change 500 miles after such is done.
Should I start over?Does the cleaner eat ARX like TBN?
Will it keep ARX from working?
Should I go for the full ARXing?
Thanks for any advice!

I'm less than 100 miles into my first AutoRX cleaning. I don't imagine cleaning the throttle body will make any difference but I don't know what would possess you to have the upper cylinder cleaned. Wouldn't you have been better off to wait to just before the cleaning phase was over, ie. another 800 or 900 miles, then change the oil and begin the rinse phase? I'm not saying that it will affect the AutoRX but I would be inclined to touch base with Frank.

Just keep your oil topped up...ie change your filter, top the oil up and finish the cleaning. Seems like you should have done the manual cleaning first.

What, exactly is an "upper cylinder cleaning"?

Guys,
I didn't do it.
It's my daughters car.
She took it to a mechanic because of CEL and other issues.I put in ARX last month to hopefully finish the cycle during her summer travels.
Hopefully Frank will cough up some coffee when he sees the thread title and give me his thoughts.

I wouldn't worry myself. You wouldn't normally (note this is a pre-BITOG or non-BITOG use of the word) change the oil after such service. I imagine that Auto-Rx doesn't care one way or the other.

Thanks guys,
I called Frank and he said to continue the ARX.
ARX will "see" the chemicals as a contaminant.
And will remove them to the filter.
I think I'll change the filter Pablo to make some room for the remove stuff.
