About this "rinsing" that is supposed to start when you change oil after the cleaning phase...
Why is it that in the instructions and texts here on the forum, rinsing seems to takes place only after changing oil??
If you use conventional oil, shouldn't the rinsing start kind of immediately and keep cleaning until all ARX and solved dirt is gone?
Sounds to me like you could go with the oil for 4000 miles and be done with it, unless you think the engine is so dirty that the filter gets plugged.
Just curious

No. What actually happens is that the host oil carrying the ARX will normally saturate and will not carry any more contaminants.
Meanwhile auto-rx chemistry has impregnated deposits yet not released. When you change the oil, without arx added these impregnated deposits are accepted into the rinse oil. Hope this helps. Just follow the application instructions over at ARX or read them above here at the start of this topic additives, here at BITOG. Follow instructions for best results.
