Does anyone own an Armadillo Side by Side ATV, or does anyone know about these? I saw an ad on these, but could not find any reviews or opinions on these ATV's online. I am buying a side by side for my dad and am looking at several options, mostly the Polaris Ranger and Yamaha Rhino. This caught my eye on craigslist. Any help would be appreciated.

Also - who is going to service the machine for you? is there a reliable source of parts locally? I say locally, becuase internet sources might not be around when something fails.

It is probably manufactured in Asia and it looks to be a pretty nice machine - just so you are clear: the team 3 company is just a retail outlet selling these on the internet, they do not manufacture the product. I do not have any personal experience with this brand of machice - maybe someone else can shed some light.

Is this team 3 motorsports local to you? I would suggest that you check into service and parts for this machine before you buy. Do not expect that your local Yamaha/Kawasaki/Polaris service department will work on the machine for you. Maybe there is an independent shop that will...? I don't mean to sound negative about this machine, but there are certain advantages to buying a well known brand's product even if it costs you a little more. I remember people being angry when the local dealerships wouldn't work on the chinese import 4 wheelers that were (maybe still are?) sold at auto parts stores like Checkers. I like to have the business that sold me the product be around to service it/help me service it for as long as I own the equipment - and I am willing to pay a little extra for this.

I would also check with them about warranty. How would it be handled? Who can do the service for you?

Side story: I was talking to a friend recently about a "no name" go-kart that he purchased for his kids about a year ago. He was telling me that he cannot find an insurance company that will cover the vehicle for him because they don't recognize the brand and refuse to take on the liability associated with an unknown product. My buddy is now selling this go kart and purchasing a Polaris RZR 170 b/c his insurance company will cover a Polaris product - even though it has more power and goes faster. This is something I would have never thought of when purchasing this type of vehicle - but definitely something to check into if you are planning on insuring the vehicle.

Let us know what you find out.

I bought a 4 seat in green in Feb. I was really surprised at how well it was built. These guys are direct USA distributors they are not a dealer. They have a huge warehouse in Georgia and I drove down and picked mine up. They are built in China and they dont try to hide it. They stock parts but they have an exclusive parts company in Indiana. My speedo stopped working about 3 months in and they sent me a whole new cluster and pretty quick too. The customer service was great they even followed up with me a couple of times. One guy even told me how to get it insured. Progressive did it for me about $210 a year. Hope this helps.

Looks like Jason has answered all the concerns I would have with the machine!

Jason - did you have to install the speedo yourself under warranty, or did they pay to have a local shop do it?
