Best Ratchets for the Money Today

Is evercraft still available at Napa? I’ve got one of their 3/8 socket sets on my boat and it’s been rock solid for probably 20 yrs.

I DO have one! Used it yesterday to replace a stupid side post GM batt. Mine is blue so that adds 5hp!!

But, it's too short to break stubborn M6 or up. The Carlyle roto head is longer. The Titan is great for under dash because it's more compact and the lighter aluminum hurts less when you drop it on your face. I don't need any more TBIs.....
I know they have aluminum ones but the one I got is steel, sure only for small bolts but also great for pan bolts and the like where you can palm the little ratchet without fear of over torquing.

You may be able to get that warranted by a dealer? I didn't even try with mine, because it has a "G" stamp by the switch. From what I've read that designates it as government issue, and not eligible for the lifetime warranty.
I found the kit for mine by searching the model number, and bought it on Ebay.
It's more cool than it is useful, my tool addiction had to have it working, and in my box.
I have so many ratchets, it's only gotten occasional use when I see it and get the itch.

Bought a genuine Snap-On rebuild kit for my little 1/4". Part number on the kit matches my ratchet. The rebuild parts are 30T, whereas mine is 20T. Got the unit almost all assembled, then realized that the backplate won't fit, the hole is too small. I was misled by Snap-On. No huge big deal, the kit was less than $20. Live and learn.
