The type of vehicle has nothing to do with how it's driven. That is determined by the driver. Idiot drivers own and operate all types and makes of vehicles.
A new study shows that SAT scores obtained 30 years ago, seems to determine the ability to make cuts and or “swim” through rush hour traffic todayThe type of vehicle has nothing to do with how it's driven. I think some people like the idea of the size of the vehicle more than their ability to handle it in some cases. Someone who’s spent years driving large trucks is more aware of the size of their vehicle and tends to handle it accordingly. I drove an F150 for many years but now only have small vehicles. I could get used to driving something big again, but it would take a bit of adjustment at first I’m sure.Lately it seems people in larger SUVs and trucks can't seem to figure out how to keep their giant vehicle in between the lines.
The number of scrapes on the parking garage entrance post at work tells me all I need to know.I think some people like the idea of the size of the vehicle more than their ability to handle it in some cases. Or clapped-out 20 year old Subaru's on bald tires doing 90+Mph because the driver thinks he's Speed Racer. It's even better when they are using their phone to record their dangerous driving, while talking about other people's driving, lol.I find those driving a piece of garbage are more dangerous. They literally don't care what happens to the "piece" they are driving. Which are usually small decades old sub compact cars.......
True, although certain vehicles tend to attract a certain demographics... I'm sure an insurance actuary can give you some hard numbers. The type of vehicle has nothing to do with how it's driven. That is determined by the driver. Idiot drivers own and operate all types and makes of vehicles.
Yup, that's a good point. Same with litre bikes.True, although certain vehicles tend to attract a certain demographics... I'm sure an insurance actuary can give you some hard numbers.
I once saw an article identifying a person’s politics, with brands of vehicles. It had to be wrong, ie neither statistically reliable nor valid, because all 3 of our cars were one, and we’re the opposite.True, although certain vehicles tend to attract a certain demographics... I'm no statistician, but statistics are not certainties... And it sounds like the article was describing correlations, which are rarely ever 100% for a large population of samples. I think most of us could do some reading on statistics including journalists.I once saw an article identifying a person’s politics, with brands of vehicles. Let’s just say being tailgated by a lifted F250 feels more threatening than a Prius on your tail - if you are only @ 75 mph on I-10 … you are in their wayYup, that's a good point. Same with litre bikes.
I will say 6 close friends drive a pickup truck as a daily driver 4 are very aggressive drivers
