I bet those test filters are very carefully inspected and massaged to be just about perfect. Grab one off the shelf in WalMart and run it on a real engine for a few thousand miles and what's the efficiency like? Also, what about all the lesser filters people are running--ones with combo valves, dicey looking bypass valves, and basically no sealing between the valve and the end cap?
