Are BITOG members insane and freaky?

I was googling for Redline info and came across an automotive board where a guy had been lurking around here. He tol the members over there that we are insane and freaky.

Even though he thought what we do is insane and freaky, it appears that he has spent quite a bit of time here looking aorund and has attempted to educate some of the other users over there who think that QS & Pennzoil leave wax build-up. I think he might be slowly heading our direction. The force is with him, he just doesn't know it yet

I like to think of BITOG members as "Lubrication Savants" without the Idiot part. Although some members have a touch of Autism demonstrated by the constant obsessing over Viscosity, Moly, GC, OCIs and UOAs.

Maybe I am slightly insane and freaky. I remember my first GC purchase - as soon as I got home, off came the cap and I was taking a big whiff. I'm sure some of you did this before you got out of the store, and knowing this, I know there is still hope for me to regain my sanity.
