Api sn plus oil change

I did an oil change on my 2020 spark and used full synthetic 5w20 rated api sn plus. I know the basics with sn plus but was wondering if it was fine in a car not being turbocharged?

Yes it was a d1g2 approved oil that i used. Manual reccomended 5w20 d1g2

For future reference all API licenses are back specified to previous ones. Whomever it was that told you that had no clue what they were talking about.
