Anyone willing to cut open my used oil filter?

Hey all,

I will be changing my oil and doing a UOA for the 1st time. I want to cut open the filter but I don't have the tools or time to do it myself.

Can I mail my used oil filter to a member here so they can open it up?

It will be a Fram filter by the way!

The easiest way to do it with simple tools is to use a screw driver to poke a hole large enough to get the tip of a wire cutter or tin snips in and then cut it open.
