For wheel bearings, axle splines and u-joints for a 2002 Ford SD. Ford spec calls for a high load, high temp lithium complex grease. Still searching for a more readily available version of Motorcraft XG-11.

I've been using it for around 10 years. Applications include, automotive, marine, and lawn tractor. Never had a failure of any kind. Very high timken rating.

I have been having great luck with the Mobil CM (construction and mining) grease in my superdutys. I have 336,000 miles on my F-350 and the only things I have replaced on the front end were the ford factory sealed ball joints at 75,000 miles. with 261,000 miles the replacement greaseable ball joints are starting to get just a hair loose. I might have em changed out in the spring time.
