Anyone used AutoZone parts delivery?

Noticed that A-zone will deliver for $8.99. said that if I order by 6p I will have parts here within 3 hrs.

Since going to town will cost me 1/2 that much in gas plus an hour of my time it sounds like a swell deal.

Wonder if they will blacklist me after coming up my dirt road?

I ought to try it once, but I’m guessing the order would be canceled. The nearest store is 25 miles away…across a state line.
Also, I normally don’t shop there, but when I do, there are no hotties.

AAP has been offering same day delivery too, saved me a trip to the hub store. Looked like a Door Dash or Uber Eats type driver brought it, for free! No hot girls, though…

I get a lot of stuff delivered by Advance Auto Parts with same day delivery For me it is 15 miles round trip so it is cheaper to pay the shipping.

Interesting, I did not know they were offering that on the retail site.

I have enough issues with the commercial site that I wouldn't really trust it, but it's a neat idea and there are definitely times in the past where it would have been useful for me if it works. I could have used it when my Ranger's alternator took a dump in a liquor store parking lot a couple years ago.

check out advance auto. They seem to do free deliveries. I had them deliver me some clearance items that equated to about $5. They even had to pay a toll for a bridge to bring it to me. There is no way they made any money on that order.

I would think they commission a third party delivery service to dump and run the parts. Favor, etc..

I have free delivery from Advance Auto Parts but not on a $5 purchase. They deliver to residences not just to businesses.

AZ delivered me an alternator, less than 18 hours after ordering.

An reman ecu tok 3 days, but came from across country.

I’ve never used the delivery service but I did buy parts online once that I had to pick up at the store. I printed up the receipt and was supposed to bring it with me for them to scan the barcode.
I went to the store, picked up pads and rotors for my wife’s car. The counter guy said here ya go. Have a nice day. I presented my receipt and said here. This is for you. He said nope. We’re done. I said I’m pretty sure you need to scan this. He refused. Insisting we were done. I said ok.
The next day I get an email from Autozone saying they’re refunding my money since I never picked up my parts. I called them and they said nope, never picked em up. At that point I said if they want to be this stupid they deserve to lose this one.
Now I just walk in and buy my parts. Even better, I go to the old school place.
