Anyone still using Pennzoil Ultra Platinum?

I just did a 10w30 PP change into my 2010 Cobalt, smooth as silk and no worries about its immense fuel dillusion issues.

I've been using PUP last half dozen changes in my 01 ford ranger 4.0 with 326,000 miles on it at last oil change which was a month ago. Truck has had Mobil 1 in it since I've had the truck since new. With 5k changes. Only switched cause it was on sale. And engine seems to run little smoother and quieter after the switch. Just my 2 cents

I’m giving it a try right now, picked it up for $28 bucks a jug on Amazon (5W30). I was previously running Amsoil Signature Series, but primarily use Mobil1 AFE or EP.

So far so good (as expected)…performing like everything else I’ve ever used…no oil consumption, no noise, etc. Actually the only oil consumption I’ve ever really experienced was during the first 2,000-3,000 miles using the Amsoil, but that stopped quickly for the remainder of my 12,000 mile run.

I’ll probably run the PUP for a 8,000-10,000 mile run.

I noted with Pennzoil . I had to top off oil every 2 week , with valvoline its stay full whole 3000 miles.
