What did you do this tranny to kill it in 9k miles?

I discovered EFILive for my truck and after limping the trans twice, that was the end of that. Upon teardown the C1 and C2 clutch packs were mangled and the converter was trashed.

Why do you think yours needs rebuilding? Is it the 5R55E? I was having some shifting problems with mine. 130,000 miles on it. I read many articles about this tranny and decided to replace the valve body. They have known issues from the factory. I bought one from CVB (central valve body) for $249. After the swap my truck shifts better then ever and I couldn't be happier. I can PM you the articles on the subject if you like.
