Anyone knowledgeable on 2008 ford escapes?

I first ran into 9mm hex on caliper bolts on a '99 Ram 1500. It seems they only used 9mm right at 1999. One year earlier or later will be 3/8" or 10mm ‐‐ I don't remember which

I checked both Cornwell and Matco hex sets I own and they both include 7 and 9mm. So, if you get a more automotive/professional oriented set these sizes are included. Of course nothing wrong with just purchasing a la carte and adding to a more consumer-oriented set ‐‐ I'm not suggesting tool truck stuff is mandatory

Agreed. The master set I have at work has 7mm and 9mm in long and short. It’s Capri brand. For the house I had to buy the 9mm separately but the set I have there has 7mm.

Ebaying old quality is better than buying new. Something like Snap on, SK, Matco, etc. Even Duralast or Napa made in the usa.

The Craftsman flare nut wrench set I got a couple years ago and failed to return to Lowes is so sloppy I'm better off chancing it with a regular wrench or even trying out Harbor Freight. For my recent brake ordeal, I ebay'd an SK Wrench with "pitting" to get the work done on a modestly rusty Toyota Matrix(it's not so severe the flare nuts are glued in or hard to turn).

OP need rotors !!! At a Junk yard 10 bucks, prolly find two serviceable ones. Countour, Mistake may be same, not sure. Most of these cars are gone to scrap tho.

Dude they sell an individual 9mm on the floor at O'Reilly. Stop asking the same question over and over when you've been provided the answer repeatedly and spend $7:

3/8" = .375"
9mm = 9/25.4 = .354"
You know I've asked them to help me find the tool I need and instead of them looking it up on the computer the guy brought me back to where the tools were showed me a set of tools said one of them should be the size I need and not a one of them worked cause they were to short.
