Good luck i called Champ a wile back and asked the same Q but about the RP filter and they wouldn't say a thing!!
they told me to call RP,RP told me to call champ

just go here and type in your filter numbers. the wix equivalent is the same specs. If you do it right it will give you the specs of your filter too.

On the Royal Purple oil filter Part# 10-2835 i need to know the By pass Relief Valve Setting PSI so i can purchase these filters for my application if it falls with in my particular applications specification.

We do manufacture the Royal Purple filters for Royal Purple, but this info falls into the lines of proprietary information. Royal Purple owns the filters and all info about the filters. I have no access to look up certain info on their filters.

Bob RP instructed me to contact you,so this is very frustrating i cant get a simple spec to a filter to make sure it will function properly on my application. You can go to any other manufactures web site and get this information easily such as WIX, Purolator how this minute information is of proprietary is silly,it's not like im asking oil formulations.

He is telling you to contact Royal Purple.
The agreement with Royal Purple is that Champion Labs will not answer questions, provide information, or do otherwise than make the filters.
In return Royal Purple gets a lower price.
